This is a phenolic intake manifold spacer kit for the B6-A4 with the 3. 0 V6. These spacers are 5mm thick and made of phenolic material to prevent heat rising off of the cylinder head from soaking the intake manifold. Increasing the length of the intake runner also provides a small torque increase! Precision CNC machined. Includes 16 longer high grade bolts, 16 washers, and 2 gaskets - everything you need to for a complete installation. **NOTE: The 3. 0L Intake Manifold has a rubber sealing surface on the manifold so you shouldn't need an extra set of gaskets to install this spacer kit. You'll install the spacers and gaskets in the following order: head, gaskets, spacers, manifold. Make sure you clean any dirt or grit out of the stock rubber seals prior to reassembly. All intake manifold bolts will need a washer and should be torqued to 10nm. We recommend torquing them at least twice to make sure previously torqued bolts are have remained tight after other bolts are torqued and the gaskets settle in. The 3. 0l V6 engines have a very brittle and fragile PCV breather hose system that tends to fall apart with age. It is highly recommended you purchase our B6-A4 3. 0l PCV breather hose repair kit to replace all these hoses while installing your JHM intake spacers to save on labor. That kit can be found in our store under the same section as these Intake Spacers: "Engine and Performance".
