Not only the acoustics has been optimized in the exhaust system to enhance the sound quality and volume to give a distinctive character to the BMW diesel engine. The back pressure is also reduced to Improve exhaust flow which increases your engine's performance capacity. The long-distance comfort is also maintained. You can expect an excellent, sporty sound for both interior and exterior after 2000 RPM.
