If you're running an aftermarket turbo, it will not always come with a vacuum port on the compressor side. This port is crucial for regulating boost levels from the actuator or wastegate; your turbo system may not function properly without one. However, don't worry; we have a solution for you.

Our quick tap kit includes all the necessary parts to install a reliable boost pressure port on the first silicone connector out of the turbo compressor outlet without drilling and tapping the housing itself. This means that with our kit, you can enjoy the full functionality and reliability of having a fitting on the compressor housing, ensuring that your turbo operates at its best.

You can also use this for a normal vacuum port in any other silicone hose in your system, but it needs to be installed in the correct place, depending on which vacuum you need to pull.

All you need to do is drill a 12mm hole, push the fitting through from the inside and tighten the nut on the outside to install. It is very simple and quick, but if you are unsure, please head to the bottom, where we have an installation guide for the best practices.

Installing our boost pressure quick tap kit is straightforward; follow the steps below. If you are unsure of any steps, please get in touch with a professional who can assist you.

1. First, mark on your silicone hose where you want to install the quick tape fitting kit.
2. Remove the silicone hose that you are planning on installing this in.
3. Get a drill with a 12mm drill bit and drill the hole where you have marked.
4. Push the fitting through the hole from the inside with the barb and thread on the outside.
5. Screw the nut on finger tight from the outside, then using a 16mm socket or spanner on both ends, tighten them together.
6. Reinstall the silicone hose and run the vacuum line to wherever you need it, and you're all done.
