As part of our expanding Fiesta Mk8 platform product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our Stage 2 intercooler kit for the ST-200 suitable for track or fast road use.
In order to ensure there is no noticeable loss in performance during extended periods of hard driving, we have developed a larger, freer-flowing intercooler that is a direct replacement for the smaller and more restrictive OEM item.
Slotting in between our Stage 1 and Stage 3 solutions, our mid-range intercoolers size and performance has been increased within the confines of the limited space behind the bumper based upon a core design that is much taller. This offers a massive increase in overall capacity in comparison to the original intercooler, as well as a huge increase in frontal area over standard, which allows it to make the most of the air flow provided.
Together with our high-flow, moulded one-piece cast end tanks to ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume over standard.
Available in a high quality powder coated black finish, the comprehensive kit is a direct replacement and attaches to the original boost pipes and clips. It comes complete with all fixtures and fittings, as well as detailed fitting instructions.
TESTED ON TRACK
We tested the Stage 1, 2 and 3 intercoolers back-to-back at Brands Hatch circuit to see how the levels compare with each other. As expected, the Stage 2 offered notably better gains compared to the Stage 1 thanks to its much bigger core, but it could not match the Stage 3s ability.
